FERRIS started back in 1909 making agricultural equipment for dairy farmers in upstate NY. Since the 1980's they have been focused on commercial mowers.

FERRIS 1500Z ZERO-TURN MOWER
 
 

• New 4-wheel Active Performance Suspension (APS™) with pivoting front axle and spring assemblies and rear-wheel coil-over-shock suspension provides increased comfort, speed, traction and consistency of cut.

• Powered by a 19, 21 or 25-hp Kawasaki V-Twin gasoline engine, all feature external 2-stage air cleaners and can reach mowing speeds up to 10 mph.

• Available with 44”, 48” or 52” cutting widths.

• Our rugged 10-gauge double-top-decks with lap-welded corners are paired with newly designed longer-life, greaseable spindles.

• Easy to lift decks adjust cutting heights in ¼” increments.

• Fans are mounted directly atop hydro pumps to cool them for added life and keep debris away to minimize service.

• Twin A-section hydro drive belts assure control of the machine if one belt happens to break.

Model options include a 61-inch double-top 10-gauge deck with 25-hp Kawasaki or 27-hp Kohler gasoline engine options.

 

The drive train features high-capacity, fan-cooled hydraulic pumps and large-displacement wheel motors to ensure long-term reliability.Additional features of the new IS 2000Z series includes:
